SOLD -- This sweet sounding Scott LK-30 is another example of our Silver Level Service. Sam stripped down the chassis to the component parts and then methodically renewed the original circuit component by component. Any that did not meet specifications were replaced by modern high quality industrial grade parts. All solder joints are new. Although the chassis and face plate are not pristine (the unit is showing some wear and tear) it is, after Sam adjusted the circuitry, sounding better than it ever did fresh out of the factory. Sam's fine tuning lowers the bias by about 40% so that tubes and components run cooler and their reliability is increased ten-fold. The push-pull output section features 6GW8/ECL86 tubes with 12-14 watts output per channel into 4, 8, and 16 Ohm loads. The other tubes are three 12AX7/ECC83 signal tubes and one 5AR4/GZ34 rectifier. The LK-30 has a variety of control functions that makes it very versatile. It is a 120 volt unit. Need more info? Send email now Use the web form See all photos |
